We've lost count of how many years we've been doing our fondue New Year's, but somewhere around 6 years, just before Meghan met Toby. The first many years we did not include the boys. The thought of Mayim bouncing, flipping, kicking, and jumping around hot oil gave me nightmares, but now they are included. This year we successfully had our Caesar Salad and French Onion Soup. By the time we got to the oil portion of the meal, we were too full and tired, so we skipped and went straight to the chocolate. That's the first time we skipped any part of it! Note to selves: Start the meal earlier. At 6 pm. Meghan went to bed before the chocolate. Jasper slept through the whole thing. Lavi was a zombie. Mayim was hyper.
