Here she is! My girl, my best friend since 6th grade, since we were 11 years old, arrived today! This is the girl who taught me how to put myself in the other person's shoes. She's taught me compassion and kindness, openness and authenticity. We've grown up together and we continue to teach each other, parent each other, love each other and be best friends for each other. She is amazing and I am so so so so HAPPY she is here! She is pregnant with her first, my nephew, and I feel so blessed to be able to spend this time with her. We keep freaking out about our baby in there, we giggle (as we've always giggled) with glee! He's in there and he is now the size of a lemon!

I will have more to report as our adventures in Portland on the hottest week EVER unfold! Yay for Ilyse in Portland!!! Here we go!
