I saw them walking up to the door and I ran outside and hugged my sister with so much excitement in my heart! I miss her so much, I hate living so far away from each other. Tears of happiness!!! And I got to meet Riley! He is the sweetest, most adorable, happiest, cutest baby on the planet! We had lunch with Dad and Meme Margie, Aunt Susan and Uncle Jack at the country club. Jewish buffet, YES. Then, after the lightening, we got to swim at the pool. We had the place to ourselves and went down the giant water slide a bunch of times. I had a piña colada that was divine, Rex pooped in the pool and we were done. Marisa cooked another amazing dinner. Salmon, cherry tomato salad, the most decadent chocolate cake - and I could eat it!, (thanks, sis!). Cousin Wendy and her family joined us. I love them so much. I love our Florida vacations!
We left Aunt Ris and Aunt Nan's house around 11pm and as Aaron was packing our stuff in the car, a tiny dog showed up. Aaron gently picked him up and the poor, lost pup gave the biggest sigh. He never squirmed and he snuggled really close to Aaron's chest. We had no idea who this dog belonged to. He had a collar, but no tag. He was well fed, but obviously sad and lost. Aaron knocked on the nearest door and the kindest people took this tiny dog in, settled him in a kennel and promised to bring him to a vet tomorrow to hopefully find his family. I hope he finds his family! Good luck, little guy!
We are pooped! Vacations with family are full! Tomorrow is our last day here, I am already sad.
Love, Eden
