I'm back! Back in the United States and back to blogging! We went on vacation to a place with no internet, my favorite thing, ever! It was amazing. I took my phone nowhere. I only checked it a couple times a day to make sure all was well. I read 3 books. After a short while, my brain turned back on, I had thoughts. There was enough quiet in my life to think thoughts again. If you have not tried this in a while, I recommend unplugging. It felt beautiful.

Vacation is over, my every thought is now dedicated to my show coming up on May 17th.
(4:00-7:00 pm, at the Cascade Paragon Gallery. 815 N Killingsworth). You have to be there! It's going to be an amazing party, celebrating some of my favorite people in the world. Like these two gorgeous people, Arty and Lily. I met them on a super rainy day, we met at the Hillsboro Library and ended up having hot chocolate at Starbucks - too rainy to be outside. Lily stole my heart. She is bright and loving and open and friendly. Arty blew me away. He opened his life up to me, he shared so much with me about his difficult life before Lily, he was 17 when she was born, and how he has changed everything about himself so that he can be the wonderful father he so obviously is to this brilliant little girl.

You will meet them at the opening! Along with so many others, plus I'll be there with my family. I will see you there, my friends!
