More Helping. Making the Bed, (Inside the Duvet Cover). Very Helpful. April 19, 2020

I stayed busy today, which means the monkey mind was not as bad. I finished making some masks for our friends. I talked to both of my sisters today. And my mom. I picked out a sweater pattern to knit, so now I have to buy the yarn. It’s cheaper to buy a dang sweater. Knitting is expensive. But it’s a good way to keep my hands busy. Idle hands and all that.

I wiped down the upstairs bathroom and mopped. I swept the kitchen. I did not fold laundry. I got too overwhelmed with being a germaphobe and had to stay away from the laundry. I ordered some seeds. That is truly an exciting moment of my day. Cucumber seeds, pickling and slicing, nasturtiums, calendula, watermelon, and lettuce. Fabulous!

I watched a little bit of Friday Night Lights when we had a small chunk of down time. Here’s your update - SPOILER ALERT:

I’m in season 4. The fucking Panthers got rid of Coach. Can you believe that? Fucking Joe McCoy, the worst piece of shit, was behind it. And his puke turd of a son is definitely following in his abusive Daddy’s footsteps. Definitely going to be a rapist. He is such an arrogant pig. I hate him so much, I forgot his name. East Dillon High School was reopened and half the town has to go there, which in this small Texas town, there is defiantly a tremendous amount of racism and homophobia. Coach’s new football team, the East Dillon Lions are a wreck, but put your trust in Coach. He is wise. Riggins dropped out of college, no surprise there. Poor Riggins, so loyal to his imbecile of a brother. Matt is very angsty and so is Julie. And so is Coach and Mrs. Coach. And so is everyone. So much angst all around! I love them all so much. Except for the McCoy’s. They are trash.

I’m reading a book called the Tattooist of Auschwitz. It’s too soon to say if I like it yet or not. I’ve heard it is excellent. Also rereading Voyager, (Jamie and Claire. Always rereading one of the books in the series. I do not feel complete when I am not reading one of these books. So soothing).

Stay busy, my loved ones. Stay in your bubble. Take good care. I love you.
