My Heart Exploded. April 28, 2020

April 28, 2020

April 28, 2020 by Eden Swartz

This stunning bouquet was delivered today with the most wonderful note. One of my incredible Prenatal Yoga students sent these to me as a thank you for continuing to offer Yoga during this time. My heart is full. I feel so honored and so proud. It feels amazing to be shown so much love and gratitude. I am grateful. I love this student and I will be keeping her as a friend, for always. I will be excited when her baby comes (soon!) but sad she won’t be in my class anymore. I hope she comes to my New Mama Group, that will be the best. Thank you, friend!

Today has been a busy and productive day. I’ve decided to start waking up earlier so I have more time in the mornings for coffee and journaling. Starting tomorrow. Today I taught yoga. I had New Mama Group. I worked out. I worked on my letter of intent for a gallery show. Went for a walk. Had 30 minutes of downtime. Did a Zoom call with Mayim and folks from school. I miss everyone so much, I always get a jolt of excitement when I see someone I haven’t seen for a while. Then I cooked dinner. Tonight it was apricot chicken, broccoli, cauliflower rice. And banana bread, (no nuts, with chocolate chips. Mayim picked the nuts out of the last one).

The weather was fabulous today, sunny and warm. I’m in my studio with the door open (I have roll up garage doors). The frogs are even louder. And I can hear lots of hummingbirds. Well, now I can only hear the frogs.

Being busy is key, y’all. My inner monkey cannot handle idle time.

I finished reading the Tattooist of Auschwitz. Have you read it? It was sad, of course. It’s absolutely horrific. I was not impressed by the writing. It was mediocre. That’s just my opinion.

I don’t always know what I am doing, but I keep going.

Sending you love and kindness and compassion.
